Carla Pedret is an online journalist with more than a decade of experience. She is deputy editor for digital products at Catalunya Ràdio, where she leads the development of new formats and strategies to foster innovation in the newsroom. She previously worked as a reporter and special correspondent for the news website 324.cat.

Carla holds a master’s in data journalism from Birmingham City University. In 2016, she won a Gorkana Award with The Exodus Data Project, an investigation on asylum claims in the UK because of religious persecution. The project was shortlisted for the Data Journalism Awards.
